Hog Fuel Storage Bin Foundation

Concrete foundation design, drafting, and field reviews of:

• 18.3 m (60 ft) diameter pile cap with 112 driven pipe piles supporting a steel bin containing hog fuel. The bin volume is 5,260 m3 (186,000 ft3) and total weight of contents is 20,700 kN (4,642,000 lbs).
• 5 m (16 ft) high ring wall and ring beam complete with access tunnel for bin unloader.
• 260 m2 (2,800 ft2) suspended slab acting as bin bottom/unloading surface
