Lift of 105,800 lb Surface Condenser

Design of a monorail and rigging procedure for the lifting and installing of a 105,800 lb, 39' long pressure vessel 60 ft above the ground.

Detailed structural analysis of the existing roof was done during the design of the new monorail. The vessel had to be lifted with multiple cranes and attached with slings to the newly designed monorail 80' above the ground. Once secure the vessel was then lifted by the monorail 78' into the building and rotated and lowered into its final position.
